These General Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from JETFUEL by consumers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

1. About JETFUEL

JETFUEL designs products that make travelling by bicycle with your dog safer and more comfortable.

Prices are in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

2. Our products

We make every reasonable effort to describe and display our products accurately.

Because JETFUEL products may contain upcycled or recycled materials, minor variations in colour, texture, finish or appearance may occur. These variations are part of the character of the material and are not necessarily considered defects.

Product images are for illustrative purposes. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device.

Always check the product description, dimensions, compatibility information and user instructions before purchasing and using a JETFUEL product.

3. Orders

An order is placed when you complete the checkout process on our website.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, for example if:

a product is unavailable;
incorrect pricing or product information was displayed;
payment cannot be processed;
we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

If we cancel an order after payment has been made, the amount paid will be refunded.

4. Prices & payment

All consumer prices are displayed in euros and include applicable VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.

Any delivery costs or additional charges will be shown before you complete your order.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available during checkout.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch and deliver orders within the estimated timeframe shown during checkout.

Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has expressly been agreed.

JETFUEL is not responsible for reasonable delays caused by circumstances outside our control. Your statutory rights in relation to delayed or failed delivery remain unaffected.

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if the package or product appears to have been damaged during transport.

6. Right of withdrawal & returns

If you purchase as a consumer online, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving a reason, subject to applicable law.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, the product must be returned within the applicable statutory period.

Products should be returned complete and, where reasonably possible, in their original condition and packaging.

You may inspect the product as you would reasonably be able to do in a physical store. If a product has been used or handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, you may be responsible for any resulting reduction in value, to the extent permitted by law.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, direct return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Certain products may be excluded from the right of withdrawal where permitted by law, for example products made specifically to a customer’s individual specifications.

7. Legal guarantee & conformity

All JETFUEL products must comply with the purchase agreement and with the legal requirements that apply to consumer products.

You are entitled to the statutory legal guarantee applicable in your country. These statutory rights cannot be excluded or reduced by these Terms & Conditions.

If a product is defective or does not conform to what you could reasonably expect, please contact us with:

your order number;
a description of the issue;
photographs where relevant.

We will assess the issue and, where required by applicable law, provide an appropriate remedy such as repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Any additional commercial warranty offered by JETFUEL is provided in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory consumer rights.

8. Repair & wear

JETFUEL believes in extending the life of products wherever reasonably possible.

We may therefore offer a repair service for damage caused by normal use or wear, including replacement or repair of certain components where technically possible.

Normal wear and tear is not automatically considered a product defect.

Damage resulting from circumstances such as chewing, biting, scratching, accidents, improper storage, incorrect installation, misuse or failure to follow the user instructions may not qualify as a defect covered by a commercial warranty.

Where possible, we may still offer a paid repair solution.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where damage is caused by a lack of conformity or product defect.

9. Safe & correct use

JETFUEL products must always be installed and used in accordance with the supplied How to Use Manual, safety instructions and product specifications.

Before every ride, the user must check that:

the bicycle and crate are suitable and safe for use;
the crate is securely attached to the bicycle;
the JETFUEL product is correctly installed;
all straps, attachment points, buckles, zippers and seams are secure and undamaged;
the dog is positioned and secured as instructed;
the combined weight does not exceed any applicable product, crate or bicycle limits.

Do not use a JETFUEL product if any safety-critical component is damaged, excessively worn, incorrectly fitted or missing.

Never leave your dog unattended in or with the product where doing so could create a safety risk.

10. Dogs & individual suitability

Every dog is different.

It is the owner’s responsibility to determine whether travelling by bicycle and the use of a particular JETFUEL product are appropriate for their dog, taking into account the dog’s size, weight, behaviour and ability to travel safely and comfortably.

Introduce your dog gradually to the product before taking longer rides.

A JETFUEL product does not replace responsible supervision by the owner.

11. Bicycle & crate compatibility

JETFUEL products are designed for the bicycle crate types and dimensions specified in the relevant product description and user manual.

The customer is responsible for checking compatibility before use.

JETFUEL cannot guarantee safe performance when a product is installed on an incompatible, damaged, incorrectly mounted or unsuitable crate or bicycle.

Always follow the bicycle and crate manufacturer’s instructions and maximum load limits.

12. Modifications

Do not make modifications to a JETFUEL product that could affect its safety or performance.

Cutting, altering, removing or replacing safety-related components with unsuitable components may make the product unsafe.

Where a repair is required, we recommend contacting JETFUEL first.

13. Liability

JETFUEL is responsible for loss or damage where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, JETFUEL is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from:

incorrect installation;
use contrary to the supplied instructions;
use with an unsuitable or improperly installed bicycle crate;
exceeding applicable weight or load limits;
unauthorised modifications;
continued use after visible damage or excessive wear;
failure to properly supervise the dog;
misuse of the product.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable consumer or product liability law.

14. Product safety

Safety is central to JETFUEL.

If you discover a potential safety issue with a JETFUEL product, stop using the product and contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide your order information, product details, photographs and a description of what happened where possible.

If JETFUEL issues a safety notice, corrective action or product recall, customers should follow the instructions provided.

15. Intellectual property

JETFUEL’s product designs, photographs, illustrations, manuals, texts, logos, trademarks and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

They may not be reproduced, commercially used, copied or distributed without prior written permission from JETFUEL, except where permitted by law.

16. Personal data

We process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

17. Complaints

If you have a complaint about a product or order, please contact us at support@jetfuelshop.com.

Please include your order number and a clear description of your complaint.

We aim to respond within a reasonable period and to find an appropriate solution.

Nothing in this complaints procedure affects your statutory rights.

18. Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.

If you are a consumer residing in another EU Member State, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection granted to you under the laws of your country of residence.

Any dispute will be submitted to the competent court in accordance with applicable law.

19. Changes to these terms

JETFUEL may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example because of changes to our products, services or applicable legislation.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to your purchase are those in effect when you place your order.
